Originally built over a century ago as a house for a monk whose doctor had prescribed a course of seawater treatments, he couldn’t have chosen a more tranquil spot for his recovery.
This is a hotel that is all about it’s aesthetics. You’re greeted on arrival by an imposing avenue of olive trees leading to the immaculate front lawns. The three buildings that make up the hotel have been refurbished in an understated style. Whitewashed walls hang modern artworks, intriguing sculptures fill the grounds and large windows are offset by cosy salons with comfy armchairs. Friendly staff manage to skilfully strike the blend between discreet yet very attentive service.
The 28 individually designed rooms are spread across the three country houses. The theme seen throughout the hotel continues into the rooms with immaculate design and an effortlessly calming feel.

The large swimming pool forms the heart of the property with loungers being spread across the lawn giving a feeling of privacy between guests.

Situated on the edge of the Llevant nature reserve, the hotel is only a mile from the seaside village of Canyamel and the Caves de Artà and Capdepera, with its medieval castle. Or head into the hotels little forest gym with glass walls all the way around for that extra special workout.
The Can Simoneta restaurant, set on a terrace with breathtaking panoramic views to the Mediterranean Sea, is an experience within itself. Start your evening off as the sun sets in the covered terrace bar where your ‘press for service’ button makes for seamless service. A Mediterranean menu is created with fresh local produce and matched with excellent local wines.
