Boheme Mykonos

Boheme Mykonos effortlessly combines simple Mykonian design with bold splashes of colour to create an effortless Greek hideaway with a gentle bohemian atmosphere. Sitting on the edge of the mountain, terraces are filled with commanding views over the Aegean Sea all with a front row view for the best Mykonian sunsets.

Rooms artfully combine traditional Mykonian style of whitewashed walls, chunky stone floors and wooden shutters, with a bohemian aesthetic; bold fabric prints and rustic light fixtures. Bathrooms are sleek in their slate-grey design. The bed is one of the cosiest I’ve slept in and the morning views breathtaking.

Breakfast can be served on your terrace each morning which is the perfect wake up call.

The pool area forms the heart of the hotel, artfully put together with wooden gazebos, beanbag armchairs and a shaded terrace lined with lounging cushions. All are spread out around the clear blue water and accompanied by chill out music to create the perfect space to relax. The vast sea views ahead make this the ideal spot for an afternoon of boat watching.

Grand sunsets from the terrace bar are taken care of by masterful mixologists to create exquisite drinks that accompany the views. The long concrete bar is shaded by the wooden gazebo and continues the chill out feel running throughout the hotel.

The views from this patch of Mykonian paradise may mean that you don’t stray too far, but if you do, the winding alleyways of Mykonos Town are just a 10-minute amble down hill. Take a wander around Little Venice with its waterside strip of wooden buildings leaning over the waves, and take in the pretty 16th-century windmills on the western edge of town.

Just make sure to be back in time for sunset.
