Hotel SP34 - Copenhagen

In the centre of Copenhagen, the Latin Quarter’s finest boutique hotel combines classic Danish furniture with contemporary touches to create the quintessential Danish look. Constructed across three townhouses, SP34 is a masterclass in Danish design with it’s relaxed but lively atmosphere and boho feel that’s in keeping with the vibe of the city.

The reception/work space/bar, with it’s high ceilings and solid wood flooring, floods with natural light, walls filled with artwork, couches for slouching and a warming fireplace. This area really comes to life from 5-6pm everyday is wine hour with complimentary wine for all guests, perfect to wind down after a day of sightseeing.

The 118 bedrooms are extremely Scandinavian in design with neutral coloured walls, stripped floorboards and snow-white linens. Minimal but refined with a Nordic touch. Deep, dark, dove-grey walls and soft, battleship grey carpets could look a little oppressive if not contrasted with the crisp-white linens that lift the space.

Danish furnishings fill the room with sturdy desks, classic chairs and low-hanging vintage lighting. And of course the instagram-worthy curved wooden headboards. Bathrooms are compact but the range of REN toiletries and extra fluffy towels make up for this.

Thought is taken care of to make your stay as Danish and relaxing as possible, bicycle hire makes it easy to blend in with locals, live jazz evenings fill the bar and an exclusive 25 seat private cinema is a great alternative to heading out after a long day of walking the cobbles of Copenhagen.
